I have learned the Canucks have offered Wellwood a two year deal worth around $1.75 million a year. I am told this may be close to being done.

More to come...

*4:30 Update* Wellwood is taking the offer into consideration, i havn't got a time frame on him making a decision, but i am trying to dig up more...

*June.15 Update* Negotiations still going on , i don't know why Wellwood is taking this long to make a decision because i dont see him rejecting the offer as it is a good one. If i find out anything else i will notify.

Note : A reason that is possible for him taking long to make a decision is because maybe he doesn't like the role he will be playing for the team (3rd liner)?, doesn't like the city?, or may want to see who else has interest in him? I am not sure, but this is out of pure speculation.
