World Book Day was on Thursday so Per Mertesacker celebrated it the only way possible: by reading the book about "himself." 

The Arsenal defender, affectionately called the "Big F***ing German" by Arsenal supporters, was snapped at a local library reading the book that spawned his nickname, Roald Dahl's Big Friendly Giant
