Spring practice is in full swing for college football teams throughout the country, and competition is fierce between players vying for any number of starting positions available for the 2014 season.

But not every job will get filled in the next few weeks. Whether because of injuries, the summer arrival of incoming recruits and transfers or just a coach's unwillingness to rush to decision, many gigs will be up for grabs right up until a team's season opener.
