Week 29 sees Premier League leaders Chelsea given the chance to extend the gap at the top to seven points, per BBC Sport.

Jose Mourinho's men take on a strong Tottenham Hotspur side in the game of the weekend, which once again sees a reduced fixture programme due to the FA Cup.

Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester City do not feature until next week but will gain a game in hand on the Blues, making it vital for Chelsea to extend their lead against Spurs.

This weekend also sees vital action at the bottom of the table, with Crystal Palace, Norwich and West Brom all in action, as well as the crucial clash between Cardiff City and Fulham.

Here is a list of the Week 29 fixtures and a guide to where you can see all the action:

Chelsea vs. Tottenham Hotspur

They may not have played spectacular, mouth-watering football this season, but Chelsea's consistency has seen them drive ahead of the pack in the race for the Premier League title.

Jose Mourinho has returned the steel that was missing in the Blues' game over the previous few years and has given himself an excellent platform to develop his squad over the summer months.

Despite their lofty position, the West London team still acknowledge the need to add to their squad and bring in world-class talent to complement what they already have.

Sky Sports journalist Pete O'Rourke recently tweeted Mourinho's admiration of Raphael Varane and how Chelsea would like to add him to their ranks in the future:

Even with the building process still ongoing, Chelsea could be crowned champions in the summer if they keep picking up three points with their current regularity.

BBC Sport reports that Mourinho is playing down his team's chances, calling Chelsea's lead over the pack false. He said: "The gap to Man City is a fake advantage. If they win their [two] games in hand, they're top."

City will have a third game in hand after Saturday evening.

Tottenham will feel they can go to Stamford Bridge and put a dagger through the heart of the Blues' title aspirations.

Despite only having a goal difference of plus-three this season, the club have managed to win seven of their last 10 Premier League matches, per Squawka.

Spurs look a different prospect under the new tenure of Tim Sherwood and since the promotion back to the first team of Emmanuel Adebayor around the Christmas period.

However, the Chelsea machine will carry on and will have too much for Tottenham on the day.

With the form of Eden Hazard and an evergreen John Terry, Mourinho's men will justify their position at the summit.

Prediction: Chelsea win 3-1

Cardiff City vs. Fulham

With both teams out of form and drowning under the weight of their own problems, this clash has vital significance in the seasons of both Cardiff and Fulham.

Both teams have sacked their manager this term, twice in Fulham's case, and look like they have no hope of staying in the Premier League.

A win for either would give them a glimmer of hope and provide a positive step toward survival, whilst condemning their opponents.

Fulham now have Felix Magath in charge, a German legend with a fabulous track record.

However, a defeat will make his job almost impossible and will see Cardiff have a four-point advantage over their foes come Saturday evening.

Cardiff have struggled in their first season back in the top division, only managing to score 19 times, per Squawka.  They have shown, though, that they can win against the very best at home, having defeated Man City 3-2 earlier in the campaign, in August.

But with Magath pulling the strings, Fulham will edge this match and keep the relegation dogfight going deep into the season.

His experience and drive will be vital for the Craven Cottage club if they can finally get themselves winning football matches.

Prediction: Fulham win 2-1
