Messi Vomits Minutes Before Kicking off with Argentina

International matches are always tense affairs for players. Even for someone of Lionel Messi's calibre, it appears the pressure can get to you. 

Minutes before the Barcelona and Albiceleste phenom was getting ready to kick off against Romania, it appears he was feeling a little queasy. 101 Great Goals captured the moment of La Pulga losing his lunch as he walked out on the pitch in Bucharest.

It is not the first time in recent matches that Messi has struggled to hold his stomach. The Argentina captain suffered with a flu bug for his club against Real Sociedad, as reported by Football Espana, which also caused him to vomit on the pitch

That Copa del Rey clash ended in a 1-1 draw that ensured Barcelona's route to the final, and a similar result was recorded in Bucharest. 

Messi was far from his mercurial best against Romania, but Argentina withstood some frenetic marking to tie 0-0 in the friendly encounter. As of yet there has been no official word from the nation's medical team whether there was a reason for his "outburst," but the playmaker completed the 90 minutes with no further inconvenience.
