Australian rugby players are pretty tough types, so when Bryce Gibbs of the Cronulla Sharks suffered a cut head during the match between his side and the Gold Coast Titans in Round 1 of the season, he wore it well.

The pictures are pretty gruesome, but Gibbs soldiered on after a trip to the blood bin.

Unfortunately for him, the Sharks went down 12-18 to the Titans.
