The associated press and ESPN are both reporting that the Minnesota Vikings plan to send a trainer and a coach to Mississippi to work with Brett Favre.

Apparently the purpose of the trip is to assess the progress of Favre's throwing shoulder since allegedly having arthroscopic surgery on it two weeks ago to repair a torn biceps tendon he suffered last season.

The report of a meeting taking place comes from an unidentified source, which has been the trend with the ongoing saga and flirtation between Brett Favre and the Minnesota Vikings so substantial evidence has yet to be seen. However, ESPN is also reporting that messages to Brett Favre's agent Bus Cook have not been immediately returned which does raise some suspicion but we're left to speculate yet again.

Just another chapter to the summer of Favre and his romance with the Minnesota Vikings, so we are left to wait another day. But as Brad Childress would say: "Stay tuned"!
