Clarence Seedorf's tactics are finally taking shape. His AC Milan side continue to improve, having played their two best games of the season against the fiercest opposition.

Even though the matches against Atletico Madrid and Juventus resulted in losses, there's little doubt that Milan are an energized squad and have bought into the philosophy of the coach.

Seedorf will continue to monitor players around the world as he tries to find the right ones to fit his 4-2-3-1 system.

Here are the latest credible rumors regarding Milan.

Alessio Cerci has already been followed closely by Milan in previous seasons, and he'll continue to get attention this summer as he ends a successful campaign with Torino.

According to Football Italia, Cerci made it known that it was flattering that he received attention from some of Italy's biggest clubs like Juventus and Milan.

Cerci would be an interesting choice for Milan in Seedorf's lineup, as he could give plenty of pace as a right attacking midfielder who loves cutting the ball onto his favored left foot.

Carles Puyol has been linked with a move to Milan after announcing that he'd be leaving Barcelona at the end of the season, according to Football Italia.

In February 2013, Puyol revealed his admiration for the Rossoneri:

I love Milan, it’s my second team. I always want them to win, except against us. If I’d have left Barça, I would’ve liked to have gone to Milan, but I’m old now and I want to play at my club until I retire.

Reports from Football Italia suggest that English club Manchester United has been linked with Mattia De Sciglio, and might make a push to sign him in the Summer.

The club has underachieved under David Moyes and will look to reinforce the defense and midfield. Expect plenty of teams to closely monitor De Sciglio's performances at the 2014 World Cup.

According to Calcio Mercato, ex-Milan defender Thiago Silva had the following to say about fellow Paris Saint-Germain defender Alex:

"We hope that Alex can renew his contract with PSG, but if he were to leave then I would definitely talk to him about joining Milan."

The burly Brazilian center back has already been linked to the Rossoneri and would bolster a defensive unit still searching for an ideal partnership.
