Premier League stars have lost all touch with reality, haven't they? The six-figure weekly wages, the cosseted celebrity lifestyle, the walking home after a top flight game...

Oscar, Chelsea's Brazilian playmaker, told officials after playing a part in the Blues' 3-1 victory over Fulham on Saturday that he didn't need to catch the team bus as he could just as quickly walk home, according to Sky Sports' Andy Burton:

A 1st for me covering the Premier League. Have just seen Oscar tell officials he doesn't need to find the team bus as he's walking home!

According to the Metro, Oscar lives just a short walk away from Craven Cottage, so he probably saved himself a bit of time in any case.
