UA Fort Smith Wins Conference Championship on Four-Point Play

Tyler BrookeSenior Analyst IIMarch 1, 2014

University of Arkansas Fort Smith was taking on Rogers State in the Heartland Conference championship, and the game ended with one wild finish.

With the game tied at 102-102 in overtime, senior Jake Toupal took matters into his own hands as the clock ticked down to zero. As time expired, Toupal was able to drain a game-winning three-pointer while getting fouled. The game was over, but Toupal still ended up making the free throw.

Arkansas Fort Smith was able to get the 106-102 win and take home the conference title on that wild play.
