Joba Chamberlain's Tommy John Scar Gets Turned into Smiley Face with Tattoo

Reliever Joba Chamberlain is no longer with the New York Yankees, but the uniform isn't the only thing that looks different about him.

The Detroit Tigers pitcher underwent Tommy John surgery in 2011, and it left him with a pretty wicked scar around his elbow. With the help of some ink, though, he's turned it into something a little bit more kid-friendly.

While the new tat might not intimidate any opposing hitters, it's nice to see that Joba's serious procedure didn't affect his sense of humor.
