NASCAR, Jeff Gordon, Arizona Sports, Preview/Prediction

Well the big one is here, Talladega Superspeedway! Arguably the most exciting race of the season. But there are definitely a few stories coming in to this race. I am definitely wondering if Jeff Gordon can turn his season around. He didn't do too bad in Phoenix but could've been better, this is not the Jeff Gordon we're used to seeing this year, but what better track for him to gain some momentum, where he's had success in the past and also winning the first COT race there.

AJ Allmendinger is back in the driver's seat in the 84 car, replacing Mike Skinner. Also a big story coming out earlier this week. The free-agent class for the end of 2008 is one of the biggest in NASCAR history. Many drivers have expired contracts at the end of the season. This could be good news for Richard Childress who is planning to add a fourth car to his team.

Well here are my predictions for this race. I believe Jeff Gordon will get another Talladega win.
