New York Jets rookie quarterback Mark Sanchez has agreed to a 5-year/50 million dollar contract, with 28 million guaranteed. Sanchez was the 5th overall pick in the 2009 NFL Draft from the University of Southern California.

He's competing with Kellen Clemens for the starting job, after the release of Brett Favre, who said he was retiring.
