Liverpool will face Swansea City played out a thrilling match in the Premier League on Sunday, with the Reds running out 4-3 winners in the end.

At the break, a breathless first half stood at 3-2 to the home side. Daniel Sturridge and Jordan Henderson put the Reds two up before quickfire goals from Jonjo Shelvey and Wilfried Bony levelled matters. Another Sturridge goal put Liverpool ahead before the break.

Right after half-time Bony scored his second from the penalty spot, before a late fourth for Liverpool came from Henderson, who netted his second in the process.

Liverpool Player Ratings

First half quick analysis

Mignolet—Two good saves, could do nothing about the goals.

Flanagan—Being done for pace defensively against traditional winger style opponents.

Skrtel—Has been booked and missed a couple of challenges.

Agger—Crucial interception right on half-time to see his team through ahead.

Johnson—Decent return on the ball but looking suspect down the left defensively.

Gerrard—Trying to up Liverpool's tempo on the ball but exposed centrally.

Henderson—Great goal, some good forward running, but needs to do more off the ball.

Coutinho—A quiet game in attack and has given the ball away in dangerous areas at times.

Sterling—Right on top of his game but Liverpool aren't finding him enough. Great assist for opening goal.

Suarez—Being tracked everywhere by Chico but still having a huge impact.

Sturridge—Two goals and an assist, mainly playing off the right flank. Immense.

Second half quick analysis

Mignolet—Made more good saves but should have been more convincing in collecting through balls into his area.

Flanagan—Was enormous after the break, kept Routledge at bay, won the ball numerous times and got forward to good effect.

Skrtel—Very dodgy. Gave away a penalty, the free kick for the second goal and generally looked hesitant and nervous.

Agger—Was the best of Liverpool's defenders but subbed on the hour mark, possibly with injury.

Johnson—Ponderous in possession and did not do much going forward.

Gerrard—Big help to Liverpool getting back on the front foot. Not spectacular but really dictated play well in the last 20 minutes.

Henderson—His forward runs have been the difference for Liverpool in the end.

Coutinho—Shifted left in a tactical switch. Not his best game but kept the ball better.

Sterling—Subbed early on in the first change for Liverpool.

Suarez—Not his day in front of goal but hugely effective nonetheless.

Sturridge—Didn't have much to go on after the break. Could have played in his striker partner for a chance on goal a couple of times.
