When the news hit that Scottie Reynolds would be leaving Villanova for the NBA, everyone was shocked. Reynolds had been the star and leader for the past three years. With the departure of him and Dante Cunningham, people were left wondering who would step up.

Now we have learned Reynolds decided to come back to Villanova after weighing his options and determining this was best.

Even with his return, Villanova will get overlooked in this talent filled Big East.

Just like last year however, Villanova is poised to surprise alot of people and maybe make a run to the Final Four... possibly farther.

With the Reynolds return the Nova starting lineup looks great. They have Reynolds, Corey Fisher, Corey Stokes, and Reggie Redding all returning. Freshman Isiah Armwood, Maalik Wayns, Mouphatou Yarou and Dominick Cheek all join the team as highly touted players who could contribute immediately.

This lineup looks great as all of the returning guys got significant playing time last year and the returning backups will look to step up this year.

Not to mention, that recruiting class is among the best in the nation.

Most people doubted this Wildcats team last year and most people will doubt them again this year. With Scottie coming back though, it turns this team from pretenders to contenders.
