As the United States men's and women's hockey teams gear up to face Canada in the 2014 Winter Olympics, the leaders of each country have placed a friendly wager: a case of beer on each game.

Update: Thursday, Feb. 20, 3:30 p.m. ET

The Canadian women pulled off a stunning comeback to beat Team USA 3-2 in overtime and win the gold medal. President Obama better have a case of beer ready to go!

According to Reuters (via Yahoo Sports), it's been two weeks and President Obama still hasn't paid Prime Minister Harper.

Harper added, "In fairness to President Obama, he's lost bets to me before, and he's always paid up before. I'm sure he will."

Let's hope the winner doesn't try to drink all the beer in one sitting.
