LeBron James Instagrams Emotional Message to Father

LeBron James has a lot driving him. 

The pursuit of greatness, the never-ending quest for more NBA championships and, apparently, a desire to succeed without his father, as he made quite clear on Instagram: 

You can read the full story in GQ's cover article on LeBron, but even the isolated quote packs a punch. The message is still blindingly obvious, as James is thanking his father, whose absence in his life made him a stronger person. 

You can poke fun at the NBA's reigning MVP for "The Decision", flopping and having a receding hairline, but don't make the mistake of denying his drive—especially with motivation like that.
