It was said about Arsenal on Wednesday night that they were on fire for the first 10-15 minutes of their Champions League match against Bayern Munich, and this video proves that before they started the game they were in good shape, too.

A mascot went in for a high-five with Arsenal's resident "BFG" Per Metersacker, and Per came back with what looks like a relatively gentle response.

But clearly it's a palm-stinger, as the boy's reaction shows.

Arsenal went on to lose the game 0-2, possibly because Mertesacker didn't manage to high-five enough of the Bayern players to distract them from all the passing and moving.
