The Los Angeles Dodgers nearly have it all, but it’s that nearly that might mean the World Series.

MLB Contributor Gabe Zaldivar breaks down one of the more electrifying teams from 2013, and one that has eyes on the big prize heading into 2014.

Of course, there is only so much talent you can buy, even when your payroll is over $228 million. This is our way of identifying the most glaring needs for the Blue Crew heading deep into spring training.

While the bullpen is peppered with powerful arms and savvy vets and the rotation is led by some of the more dominating pitchers in the Senior Circuit, we have some concerns with how the back end of the rotation will fare.

While there is hope new Cuban import Alex Guerrero can make a splash, the talent backing him up makes his success more of a need than you might think. After that, there is really just one thing that will keep the Dodgers locked in on the World Series, and that’s health.

Of course, please offer your own assessment of a team continuing to inch its way towards ultimate glory.
