Former Louisville Cardinals quarterback Teddy Bridgewater is one of the top quarterback prospects in this year's NFL draft class. Bleacher Report's draft guru Matt Miller gives him the second-highest grade he's ever given to a quarterback, second to only Andrew Luck in 2012.
So why isn't Bridgewater considered the sure-fire No. 1 overall pick and a franchise player? The biggest issue has been his size, or lack thereof. During his Louisville days he was listed at 6'3" and 196 pounds. That's pretty thin for someone who will take countless hits from NFL defensive linemen and linebackers.
This recent video should gain him some favor with scouts. Clearly the decorated prospect has been hitting the weights hard since Louisville's 36-9 drubbing of Miami in the Russell Athletic Bowl on Dec. 28.
