No. 9 Villanova managed to avoid a major upset on Tuesday night at the hands of Providence, but it wasn't easy.

The game was tied at 79-all in the closing seconds of the second overtime and needed someone to make a clutch play. Sophomore Ryan Arcidiacono came through with an and-1 layup:

Arcidiacono made the ensuing free throw to give the Wildcats an 82-79 victory.
