Yesterday, the Minnesota Vikings ended their pursuit of Brett Favre. This means the Vikings will no longer go after Brett Favre.

The reason they ended it is because Brad Childress had some OTA's set up and wanted Brett to come. He didn't show up, so it ended his pursuit.

Brett is turning 40-years-old next year and had surgery last month on his arm. Most Viking fans thought this meant he really wanted to play with the Vikings.

At the moment, this leaves the Vikings quarterback position still in a hole.

Last year, the Jets got Favre and went 9-7. He had 3,472 yards and had 22 touchdowns and 22 interceptions for a 81.0 passer rating.

Pretty good for a 39-year-old, right?

In some related news, friends and family of Farve had booked some hotel rooms for the Vikings-Packers showdown in Green Bay this season.

For now, that concludes the pusuit of Favre, the latest Farve news, and this article.
