Lance Fresh@@LanceFreshFeatured ColumnistFebruary 17, 2014

There’s a lot to celebrate this year for Wizards point guard John Wall. Not only did he compete in the Slam Dunk Contest for the first time, but 2014 marks his first appearance in the All-Star Game alongside some of the league’s best.

As team leader and franchise cornerstone of the Washington Wizards, the recognition Wall has received this year solidifies what the young guard already knows—he is an annual All-Star on the rise.

Bleacher Report was granted exclusive access to follow Wall during his journey as a first time All-Star.

We had the opportunity to chronicle Wall’s journey through parties, events, practice sessions and, of course, the game on Sunday.

Watch the video to get a sneak peek of his experience at 2014’s All-Star Weekend.

Let us know your thoughts on Wall’s journey and if he has what it takes to be a contender among this generation's great point guards.
