    Chelsea spent more than any other Premier League club in the January transfer window—nearly £48 million, per Sky Sports.

Chelsea to Sign 40-Year-Old Centre-Half?

    Jamie Sanderson at The Metro has reported on a shock deal that would see Jose Mourinho sign a 40-year-old centre-half. Inter Milan captain Javier Zanetti is out of contract at the San Siro in the summer and it is thought that Mourinho would like him to come to Stamford Bridge for a season before becoming a key member of the backroom staff.

Edinson Cavani Wants to Quit PSG

    Jamie Sanderson at The Metro has picked up on comments from a friend of Edinson Cavani which suggest that the Uruguayan striker is looking to leave Paris Saint-Germain this summer. According to the report, the friend has said "If clubs want to sign him, it would soon be time to make a move."

Chelsea Join Bacary Sagna Chase?

    The Guardian's Rumour Mill has reported that Chelse have joined Manchester City and Liverpool in the pursuit of Arsenal defender Bacary Sagna.

    The Guardian's Rumour Mill reckons that Mourinho could try to sign Bayern Munich forward Mario Mandzukic this summer. With Robert Lewandowski on his way to Bavaria, the 27-year-old will find his playing time even more restricted than it is at the moment, and he could present a cheaper option than the likes of Edinson Cavani.

Sami Khedira in from Real Madrid?

    Jamie Anderson of The Express has reported that Jose Mourinho is keen to reunite with Sami Khedira at Stamford Bridge.

    A knee injury put paid to a reunion last summer, but it is understood that Khedira is keen to work with Mourinho again.
