Olympic Speedskating 2014: Live Results, Highlights of Women's 1,500 Meters

Do you think the Dutch have made their point?

The Netherlands' completed another speedskating sweep on Sunday morning at the Adler Arena Skating Center, taking all the spots on the podium in the women's 1,500 meters.

Jorien Ter Mors—better known for her exploits on the short-track—set a new Olympic record time of 1:53.51 and captured gold, the first of her career. 

Ireen Wust, the favorite and defending Olympic champion in the 1,500 meters—had to settle for silver, her third overall medal of the Games. She's also captured gold in the 3,000 meters and silver in the 1,000 meters.

Lotte Van Beek rounded out the podium with bronze. 

With Sunday's results, the Dutch have now captured 16 of the 24 speedskating medals awarded in Sochi thus far.
