Bleacher Report

In a game where defense isn't really an emphasis, Phoenix Suns sophomore Miles Plumlee came up with a big play on the less glamorous end of the floor during the NBA Rising Stars Challenge.

During the second half of the game, Miles' brother Mason Plumlee found Anthony Davis near the rim, and it looked like the New Orleans Pelicans power forward was about to throw down a monster jam. Instead, Miles decided to go for the block instead of stepping aside, and he came away with an impressive swat, especially considering the lack of defense that is usually found in this game.

Bleacher Report

Plumlee is having an impressive season with the Suns so far, averaging 9.3 points and 8.5 rebounds per game while shooting 50.9 percent from the floor. That block on Davis hopefully gets him the attention he deserves from casual fans of the NBA.
