Mexico's away strip for the 2014 World Cup has been revealed by Adidas, with the red and black design said to be a throwback to El Tri teams of old.

This, as per the official statement B/R received from Adidas:

With a striking combination of red and black, the new away kit serves as a reinterpretation of color combinations used from the 1930 World Cup Uruguay through the 1958 World Cup Sweden. The color of the jersey also pays homage to the passion, union and combative spirit reflected in the nation’s flag.
