Life at Manchester United has been pretty tough so far for Juan Mata, but the Spaniard is optimistic that their break in Dubai for some warm-weather training will help the team get back on track.

In the meantime, the playmaker had time to stop for a cheeky selfie with a fan, as recorded by 101 Great Goals:

United only have the chance to head out to the Middle East because they have been dumped out of the FA Cup by Swansea City

No matter, says Mata, according to Sky Sports:

We are going to rest a bit, train as a group and prepare ourselves for the rest of the season. Once we come back from this mini break hopefully we will win many matches. I am happy at the club, very happy. I am enjoying my football, I am getting minutes on the pitch. I am in a very, very big club and I hope we finish the season well.

United lie seventh in the Premier League table and questions are being asked about their direction under David Moyes

Mata's £37 million arrival in January from Chelsea cheered fans, but United have only won once in four matches since then.

They beat Cardiff 2-0 on Mata's debut, before defeat at Stoke was followed by a 2-2 draw at home to struggling Fulham and a goalless draw at Arsenal in midweek.
