Liverpool Fan Gets Brendan Rodgers Tattoo, Inspirational Rodgers Quote on Back

It's a pretty good time to be a Liverpool fan right now, with the team flying high in the top four and looking genuinely menacing in attack. But is it time to get a huge Brendan Rodgers tattoo on your back?

For one fan, the answer is a resounding yes.

Joe is making quite a statement there. Rodgers is in just his second season as Liverpool boss, and while things are great at present, aside from Arsene Wenger, no manager has been in charge of a Premier League team for more than four years.

Liverpool may be on the cusp of one of the great footballing dynasties, or they could be rebuilding again in 2016 as Rodgers tries to salvage his career by taking the Preston North End job. Time will tell, but one way or another, that tattoo is not going anywhere fast.

For the eagle-eyed among you, you'll have already read the quote. If you haven't, it says the following:

I’ve always said that you can live without water for many days, but you can’t live for a second without hope.

That is a Brendan Rodgers original, of course. Some, Joe presumably included, will find it inspiring. Others, such as Who Ate All the Pies blog, would put it at No. 2 on the list of the top 20 "Brilliantly Cringeworthy Brendan Rodgers quotes."

Thanks to SB Nation for spotting the tattoo.
