MLB Team Needs 2014: Detroit Tigers

It’s not often that you see a team jettison a $200 million player and a top starting pitcher and still look like one of the best clubs out there.

That’s your cue to give Detroit Tigers general manager Dave Dombrowski a hand. He traded Prince Fielder and Doug Fister, but his squad still looks like the class of the AL Central.

With Major League Baseball easing into the spring, however, it's now time to focus on what question marks the Tigers still have. And they have those like a tiger has stripes.

MLB Lead Writer Zachary D. Rymer has come up with three things in particular that Detroit will need to get right if they’re going to win in 2014. One involves their situation at third base, another involves their starting rotation and another still involves the big star in the middle of their lineup.
