Olympic Flame in Sochi Can Be Seen from Space

The world is focused on the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics right now, so it's important that the Games are extravagant.

As USA Today's Nancy Armour reported, this year's Winter Olympics cost $51 billion. That price tag means that one should be able to see the site from a far distance.

As it turns out, the Olympic flame—among other things in Sochi—can be seen from space.
