Major League Baseball's First-Year Player Draft will begin tonight at 6 p.m. ET. The Washington Nationals have the first pick and are expected to take San Diego State pitcher Stephen Strasburg. The kid may turn out to be a fine player, but lets hold off on the Hall of Fame induction until after he throws a pitch in the big leagues. Here are some pretty good players that were not drafted in the first round (or anywhere close).

John Smoltz
