The Angles come into town for a three game series starting today. The Rays just fell below .500 yet again and need to bounce back fast. This series could make or break the Rays.

Probable Pitchers

Jered Weaver, RHP (5-2, 2.26) VS. James Shields, RHP (5-4, 3.40)

John Lackey, RHP (1-1, 5.13) VS. Jeff Niemann, RHP (5-4, 3.77)

Ervin Santana, RHP (1-2, 6.75) VS. David Price, LHP (1-0, 2.45)

What To Watch For

Evan Longoria returned to the line-up yesterday after his injury. With him back look for a boost in run production for the offense.

Ben Zobrist is making a big case to be an all-star. With his bat being hot, Maddon has pluged him in the line-up almost everyday.

The bullpen needs to be more consistent and get outs. We are finally getting decent starts out of the starters, but without anyone to come in and close the games, the Rays could be in the market for the reliever. This isn’t little league where the games are six innings.
