The Bills have signed former Colts running back Justise Hairston NFL.com is reporting. In his senior season Hairston ran for 1877 yards and 20 touchdowns. As a senior he rushed for 197 yards in the first quarter of a game.

Hairston was originally drafted by the Patriots, but he was released and drafted by the Colts. The Colts released him after the 2006 season. He went on and off of the Colts practice squad. Haiston has not been in the NFL since, but I read somewhere a couple of months ago that he tried out for a team.

Haiston has a chance to make the Bills' game-one roster because Marshawn Lynch has been suspended. But once Lynch gets back, Hairstion could be in trouble.
