Tennessee Volunteers football coach Lane Kiffin is making headlines yet again, and similar to the other publicity he has received, it’s negatively associated. The ignorant coach who took over head coaching duties for the Vols' football program has committed another NCAA violation (they’re looking into it at this point, but he’s definitely guilty). This guy is on a roll!

Once Tennessee is through with "looking into it" and finds their mistake of a coach culpable of another recruiting violation, the tally of violations Kiffin has committed since being introduced as the head coach Dec. 1 will be at five. Stay hot Lane!

ESPN reported this:

A segment of ESPN’s “Outside the Lines,” which aired Sunday, showed Kiffin in his office with two people identified by the network as recruits.”

According to NCAA recruiting rule 13.10.1, “A member institution shall not permit a media entity to be present during any recruiting contact made by an institution’s coaching staff member.”

Sounds to me like there is nothing to look into, it says it all right there; he committed another recruiting violation. Is Lane Kiffin ignorant or just flat out stupid? How many recruiting violations can a program make until they are sanctioned? This is getting ridiculous! [Read more...]
