The Miami Hurricanes took an early lead against the Florida Seminoles after a 7 p.m. EST tipoff.

Both in-state rivals limped into Rivalry week in Tallahassee following a disappointing conference season to date. After losing each of their top five scorers from last season's ACC championship team, the Hurriances have lost five of their last six games. Florida State, as well, has dropped four of their last five contests after starting the season at 4-2 in the ACC.

This is the second meeting of the season between The U and Florida State.
