Is Robin Van Persie Bid from Inter Milan Too Good for Arsenal to Pass Up?

Robin van Persie played his first relatively injury-free season for Arsenal, and it was a joy to watch. The Dutch striker was Arsenal's top scorer and goal assister, netting 20 goals and finishing among the top Premier League sharpshooters.

With van Persie in his best form, it's no surprise to see all the big name clubs from Europe highly interested in the Arsenal frontman. Rumour has it that Jose Mourinho's Inter Milan are set to offer £28 million for van Persie.

Fellow Arsenal striker Emmanuel Adebayor, who was set to leave the Emirates at the start of the 2008-2009 campaign, is attracting some serious attention from Inter Milan's rival AC Milan. It was rumoured that AC Milan were set to pay up to £35 million for Adebayor, but now it seems more likely to be around £20.

If Arsenal were to sell van Persie but keep Adebayor (much to the annoyance of fans), Arsenal would have more than enough to secure a top-notch striker and a quality midfielder.

Is Inter's offer to good to give up, or should Arsenal keep their best performer in 2008-2009?
