After Adreian Payne helped the Michigan State Spartans tie the game at 58-58 with 12 seconds remaining, the Badgers had one final possession before overtime to try and pull off the upset win. Traevon Jackson took the ball all the way down the court before hitting a jumper with 2.1 seconds left to give the Badgers the 60-58 win.
After starting the season at 16-0, the Badgers are now 19-5 with a 6-5 record in the Big Ten. The Spartans are now 20-4 with a 9-2 conference record.
