A number of athletes at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi have done wild things to stand out from the crowd, but this might be one of the creepier ways to do that.

Estonian athlete Grete Gaim decided to wear ice-blue contacts during the 7.5-kilometer biathlon. While they do make her stand out from the crowd in terms of appearance, the contacts didn't exactly help her performance, as Gaim ended up finishing 71st.

Hopefully this doesn't become a trend, or else we'll be seeing a lot of Olympic athletes looking like White Walkers from Game of Thrones.
