Team USA nabbed two medals on the first day of competition in Sochi, and Day 2 offers a chance to grab at least a couple more.

Bode Miller, the five-time Olympian from New Hampshire and the United States' most decorated Alpine skier ever, is in action in the downhill after impressing during training with the fastest time on the course.

Jamie Anderson is also in action in the women's slopestyle snowboarding event. Anderson has been the most dominant performer in the discipline for the past ten years, and Sochi gives her the opportunity to add an Olympic medal to her name.
