Olympic Snowboarder Alexey Sobolev Writes Phone Number on Helmet; Phone Crashes

When you're on the sports world's biggest stage, you might be tempted to do something crazy like Russian snowboarder Alexey Sobolev did.

According to Jeff Passan from Yahoo! Sports, the 22-year-old Olympic athlete received thousands of text messages and naked pictures after putting his personal phone number on his helmet during the men's slopestyle competition.

You can see a picture of the helmet below.

Sobolev received so many text messages and pictures after putting his number on his helmet that his phone actually stopped working. Eventually, his phone was able to restart, but the messages haven't really stopped.

Talk about an interesting way to make a name for yourself.

Hat-tip to Tony Manfred from Business Insider for the find.
