Nemanja Vidic confirmed that he was leaving Manchester United in an official statement posted on the club website late on Thursday night, and while the Red Devils work out how they'll manage without their captain in the summer, the city's airport has been busy using it on social media to their advantage.

Dear Mr #Vidic, we have over 200 destinations you could #FlyManchester out to including Barcelona, Paris, Munich, Milan if you're interested

Vidic, 32, will be interesting clubs from all over Europe, and indicated in the statement that after eight years at United he would not be looking to remain in the Premier League.

So well done to the guys at the airport for spotting an opportunity.
