Russian Snowboarder Alexey Sobolev Films Ride Down Slopestyle Course

The slopestyle course at the 2014 Winter Olympics has a lot of people talking, so Russian snowboarder Alexey Sobolev decided to give everyone a firsthand look.

As USA Today's Rachel Axon and Erik Brady wrote, there have been some injuries on the course. Norway's Torstein Horgmo will miss the Sochi Games after breaking his collarbone earlier in the week, and American Shaun White pulled out of the event after hurting his shoulder and wrist.

Crashes are a part of the event. They have received a lot of publicity this year after some high-profile injuries, which makes fans wonder what the course is like. 

Luckily, Sobolev was willing to film his ride:

Although Sobolev didn't do anything fancy, he gave a great look at the challenging course that the snowboarders have to face.
