MLB Trade Target: Lance Lynn

The St. Louis Cardinals have what we like to refer to as a “great problem,” because they have an over abundance of answers for the starting rotation.

However, that means the likes of Lance Lynn might be on the outside looking in.

MLB Contributor Gabe Zaldivar breaks down Lynn and the possibility that spring training will welcome more than pitchers and catchers but the cold hard fact that the Red Birds have too many arms.

Of course, one solution is to stick the loser of the arms race into the bullpen, which might just be what happens a couple of months from now.

Still, when you consider what the 26-year-old comes to the table with as far as a valued trade commodity, you have to think there is at least one team out there willing to entertain the notion.

From Adam Wainwright and Michael Wacha to the expected return of Jaime Garcia, the Cardinals have the opportunity to trade away a piece to get even better. But will they take it? Offer your thoughts in the comments section below.
