The SEC may not have won the BCS title in 2014, but that didn't keep the conference from dominating on national signing day.
How well did the conference do on Feb. 5? One division signed more 5-star recruits than the rest of the conferences combined. Wow.
That's right: The SEC West—which includes Alabama, Auburn, LSU and Texas A&M—dominated national signing day.
If that stat wasn't impressive enough, TexAgs provided another great stat:
The SEC West alone has 11 more national Top 100 recruits than the Big 12 and Pac 12 combined. pic.twitter.com/klrloRLqKn— TexAgs (@TexAgs) February 5, 2014
The numbers, via TexAgs.com, are staggering. Of the top 10 recruiting classes, seven came from the SEC. The Pac-12 and the Big 12 didn't have one between them.
SEC haters should enjoy this past season because it looks like the conference is going to continue to be a major force in the future.
