Behind a balanced effort in which five players reached double-figures, the Portland Trail Blazers (35-14) beat the New York Knicks (19-30) by a final score of 94-90 on Wednesday night.
The Blazers were led by Nicolas Batum's 20 points and 10 rebounds. Wesley Matthews chipped in with 18 and LaMarcus Aldridge posted a double-double with 15 points, 12 rebounds and five assists.
The Knicks were led by Carmelo Anthony, who scored 26 points and grabbed eight rebounds.
Tim Hardaway, Amar'e Stoudemire and J.R. Smith all hit double-figures from the bench as the second unit led a late surge, but ultimately it wasn't enough.
