TNA’s tour of Europe rolls on with another week of Impact Wrestling from Glasgow, Scotland, and this Thursday’s main focus for wrestling fans will be the first comments from the company’s new investor, MVP.

The former WWE Superstar has spent the last several years honing his craft in Japan, and the talented wrestler will bring his mic skills and his in-ring ability to TNA, where it is needed the most.

Add in The Wolves standing by his side, and this is a powerful trio that will make this week’s episode of Impact Wrestling a must-watch for all hardcore and causal TNA fans.

Here is all the vital viewing information for Thursday’s show and a full preview of the action.

Where: The SSE Hydro, Glasgow, Scotland

When: Thursday, Feb. 6, 9 p.m. ET

Watch: Spike TV

MVP Breaks His Silence

There had been talk about a mystery investor for a few weeks leading into last Thursday’s episode of Impact Wrestling, and it was finally revealed that the new personality being introduced was none other than MVP. While some fickle fans were displeased with this debut, this is a smart addition to the roster that will add talent and depth to the top of the card.

Now, MVP will break his silence.

Question on Everybody’s Mind: What Will MVP Say?

It’s clear that TNA president Dixie Carter is not happy about the fact that MVP is not only with her company, but he is a mystery investor that has serious booking power. With a clear power struggle already being foreshadowed, Thursday’s episode of Impact Wrestling should be MVP’s chance to reveal his grand scheme to take over full control of the company from Carter.

Critics will look at MVP as a second-tier star that doesn’t deserve the main event push he’s getting with TNA, but the veteran will have the chance to shut everyone up with an amazing performance this week. If MVP can get the fans on his side and sell casual fans that he is the savior of the company, this move will be a calculated risk that pays off.

Hype Meter: 4 out of 5 Game-Changing Signings

There will always be a contingent of wrestling fans who complain about TNA no matter what the company does, but signing MVP and flanking him with the newly signed tag team of The Wolves shows a very bright future.

MVP knows what it takes to be a star at the top level in the wrestling world, and he can bring that experience to Impact Wrestling. Add in that he will be associated with two independent wrestling sensations like Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards, and it’s clear that TNA made the right move signing all of these men.

Impact Wrestling is starting to heat up.

TNA News: Last Week’s Impact Ratings, per Wrestling Inc.

Abyss Goes One-on-One with Eric Young

The storyline between Joseph Park and Abyss appears to be drawing to a close, as Eric Young—the man that helped awaken Park’s inner demons—will now be forced to go one-on-one with his creation in the always-violent Monster’s Ball match.

For the wrestling fans that love blood in matches, this bout should be a violent battle that features plenty of spots that would have been frequently seen during the Attitude Era. These two former friends will go to war.

Question on Everybody’s Mind: Which Superstar Will Win this Match?

Young has been depicted as the mad scientist Dr. Frankenstein in this storyline, and Abyss is his creation. While Young’s intention was to help Park find out who he really is, the self-proclaimed scientist has awoken the sleeping giant.

Now Abyss is looking to take out all of his pent-up frustration on his former friend. While Young is a fan favorite and one of the biggest personalities in TNA, Abyss should be able to crush him on Thursday.

Hype Meter: 4 out of 5 Pay-Per-View Quality Matches

Abyss is one of the best superstars on the Impact Wrestling roster when it comes to putting on interesting matches, and this week’s episode will be no different. With the two men knowing each other so well, there is no doubt that this violent bout will feature plenty of storytelling.

While this will not be a technical wonder in the ring—if you’re looking for Kurt Angle vs. Bobby Roode, you won't find that type of chain wrestling in this match—there is no doubt that both men know how to work a crowd into a frenzy.

This will be an underrated match that satisfies even the most stubborn critics.
