Manchester City 'Can Score 30+ Points in Next 6 Games,' Claims Jamie Carragher

Jamie Carragher had a bit of a maths fail while analysing Manchester City's 1-0 defeat at home to Chelsea on Monday night.

Carragher, looking ahead at City's next six games, claims they could score 30+ points in that period.

With a maximum of 18 points available, that would be something of a stretch.

Far more likely is Carra intending to say 13—which could have been picked up from four wins, a draw and a defeat.

But somehow bad maths keeps following Manchester City around this season.

Manager Manuel Pellegrini famously miscalculated how many goals his side would need to beat Bayern Munich by to qualify top of their Champions League group.

And last month striker Edin Dzeko lost count of how many goals the team had scored during their 6-0 devastation of West Ham United in the first leg of the Capital One Cup semi-final.
