The Detroit Pistons played like a team on a mission Wedensday, playing like the team that has gone to the conference finals each of the past five seasons. From the opening tip the pistons took control of a game, that saw all five starters in double figures with a minimum of sixteen points.
The players were pretty upset after they gave up a fifteen point second half lead in game one of the eastern conference playoffs. You figure they might not let that happen to them again especially in their own building.
Once again nobody could guard Rasheed Wallace but at least this time he wasn't the only Piston making shots. The Pistons as a team shot fifty four percent from the field en route to a 105-88 victory.
Game three is Friday in Philadelphia at the Wachovia center. Richard Hamilton ended up being the pistons leading scorer with twenty points noting the fact he was the only Piston starter on the floor for the fourth quarter.
The Pistons played like they were supposed to play, efficient offense, and smothering defense not letting the Philadelphia 76ERS crack the 90 point mark. At one point it got so bad for Philadelphia that the bench was out scoring it's starters. Andre Miller being the only starter to score in double figures with 14. Game three on Friday can't wait to see it.
