Chicago Columnist Picks Bears to Win Super Bowl XLVIII

Kyle NewportFeatured ColumnistFebruary 2, 2014

When it comes to picking a winner for the Super Bowl, fans have a 50-50 chance of being right, considering there are only two teams playing.

But some people are going with more unorthodox picks. Apparently a team that didn't make the playoffs, let alone the Super Bowl, has been chosen to win Super Bowl XLVIII by the Chicago Tribune's Steve Rosenbloom.

Not only did Rosenbloom pick the Chicago Bears to win the Super Bowl, but he also picked them to win in a record-setting blowout. No team has ever scored more than 55 points, won by more than 45 points or been shutout.

According to this columnist, all of those things are going to happen this year.

Hopefully Rosenbloom doesn't have any money riding on this game.
